Links to the 2012 EVE Online Pod and Planet Fiction Contest entries are here, with notations on the winning stories.

The 8000 Suns in New Eden category has stories that fit into (or make a faithful effort to fit into) the New Eden lore, as found in the official canon (the Chronicles, EVElopedia entries, etc.

The A Day in the Life category has stories about actual players and actual game events, or  stories that didn't want to bother with strictly adhering to the canon.

The contest was in October-November 2013, with winners announced in January 2014.  Prizes for the winning entries included an nVidia EVGA Superclocked GeForce GT

Thanks to extremely generous sponsors, we had some great prizes.  US $425 Nvidia graphics care (CCP), 2 subscriptions to EON Magazine (EON), 20 bil ISK (EVE Online Hold'Em and Somer Blink, 10 bil each), and 12 PLEX (EOH Tom)

In addition to the contest entries, at the bottom of the page there's a Reading Bank.  It has links to the writers' older works not entered as contest entries.

Enjoy the reading-- some suprisingly good stuff here.  We were expecting internet spaceships fan fiction.  Instead we stories about crime and vengeance, elaborate exploitations of New Eden's tech, Amarr towns and estates, grunts dying in the dust, and capsuleers' angst and psychological degeneration (to name a few).  Adventure, love, horror, and some humor as well.  These guys didn't hold anything back.  Check them out, readers and writers.
